Trevor Sexton grew up in Woodhaven Michigan. From a young age he had a passion and drive to become an attorney in order to use the law to help people. Mr. Sexton attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he majored in Public Law.
Mr. Sexton earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Western Michigan Thomas M Cooley Law School where he received a 100% scholarship based on his high undergrad GPA and Law School Admissions Test score. Mr. Sexton was a member of the National Mock Trial Team while attending Cooley. Mr. Sexton was a Senior Associate Editor on the Western Michigan University Thomas M Cooley Law Review. Mr. Sexton earned four certificates of merit while in law school; was on the honor roll and dean’s list in all terms attended; and graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class. Mr. Sexton previously served as a clerk for the Honorable Mark T. Slavens of Michigan’s Third Circuit.
